The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It is durable and adaptable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, featuring open shelves adjustable at 1" increments for customized storage. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts, and chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. The open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, while the double rivet button stud construction ensures a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. The package includes sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking, which ships in two pieces. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
