The SC Preferred® 2 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, offering flexibility with four side access. Assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components. The shelving includes sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner post, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit comes with rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments. The unit is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel. The wood decking consists of sturdy, smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard, shipped in two pieces, providing a cost-effective solid surface.
