The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a max storage weight of 1800 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. Easy assembly is achieved without bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components and sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load, while double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically on 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking provide a cost-effective solid surface for storage.
