The SC Preferred 5 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving Starter with wood decking is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial storage, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1800 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable open shelves adjustable at 1" increments, made with sturdy roll-formed steel framing and chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility, and assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, preventing back and side sway, and sturdy precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking. Front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation under full load, and the double rivet button stud construction forms structurally secure joints.
