The SC Preferred™ 2 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1800 lbs. per level. The durable and adaptable shelving is suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, featuring open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts using double rivet button stud construction, forming a structurally secure joint to eliminate back and side sway. The open design allows access from all four sides, offering maximum flexibility. Wire decking provides ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while allowing sprinkler water to pass through easily, enhancing fire safety. The rolling formed steel framing offers maximum support, and the chip resistant gray baked enamel finish ensures durability. Assembly is easy with snap-in components and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips.
