The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, and the kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, along with double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments to ensure a secure joint and eliminate back and side sway. The shelving features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The open design allows four side access for maximum flexibility, and wire decking permits ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, while allowing sprinkler water to pass throughout the racks to improve fire safety. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Particle board included in the package ships in two pieces.
