The SC Preferred™ 2 Shelf heavy-duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial applications to maximize storage space, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The kit includes two shelves with sturdy roll-formed steel framing and 2" x 1-1/2" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers, along with double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, allowing open shelves to be easily adjusted at 1" intervals without bolts, nuts, or clips. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load, and the double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. The open design permits four-side access for flexibility, and the chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish ensures durability. The package features smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking, shipped in two pieces, providing a cost-effective and solid shelf surface. Assembly is simple with snap-in components, without the need for fasteners.
