The SC Preferred™ 2 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces. It has a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level and features durable, adaptable storage with adjustable open shelves that can be set at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that lock securely into the corner posts to prevent sway, and sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. The wood decking consists of smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard, which ships in two pieces and offers a cost-effective solid surface. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and allows four-sided access due to its open design. Assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
