The SC Preferred™ 2 Shelf Standard Duty Boltless Shelving Starter with Wire Decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, and the kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, and wire decking to allow ventilation, visibility, and light penetration. The snap-in assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, ensuring easy setup. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation under full load and double rivet button stud construction locking perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. The particle board included ships in two pieces and the entire shelving unit has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. The design allows sprinkler water to pass through easily, improving fire safety.
