The SC Preferred 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable, adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for flexible configuration. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock securely into corner posts with double rivet button stud construction to eliminate back and side sway. The open design allows four side access, and easy assembly is achieved without the use of bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation when fully loaded. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish protects the shelving, and the wire decking enhances ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, while allowing sprinkler water to pass through, improving fire safety. Particle board ships in two pieces.
