The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking features a maximum storage weight capacity of 1200 lbs. per level and is constructed for durable and adaptable storage in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for versatile storage configurations. Assembly is straightforward and tool-free, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The shelving unit is made from sturdy roll-formed steel framing with 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock securely into corner posts to prevent back and side sway. Front-to-back supports enhance beam stability to prevent rotation under full loads. The wire decking promotes ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while allowing sprinkler water to pass through easily, improving fire safety and potentially reducing insurance costs. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. The particle board included ships in two pieces.
