The SC Preferred™ 4 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, supporting a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load, while double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The open shelves are adjustable, the wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, and sprinkler water passes easily through to improve fire safety. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Particle board ships in two pieces.
