The SC Preferred 3 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The shelving includes open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments for customizable storage configurations. Assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components instead. The unit is constructed from sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support, with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full loads. Double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway for structural stability. Each starter unit contains rugged 2" x 1" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish adds durability. Wire decking enables ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, while allowing sprinkler water to pass through easily for enhanced fire safety. Particle board components ship in two pieces.
