The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. This durable and adaptable shelving unit is suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, featuring adjustable open shelves that can be set at 1" increments for customizable storage configurations. The kit includes a starter unit with rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, along with double riveted horizontal beams that lock securely into the corner posts to form structurally stable joints and prevent sway. The shelving employs sturdy roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish adds durability, while wire decking promotes ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and allows sprinkler water to pass through easily, enhancing fire safety. The open design provides four side access for maximum flexibility, and the assembly is simple with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Particle board shelves ship in two pieces.
