The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize your storage area with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing customization to fit various needs. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 ga steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts for a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. The open design provides four-side access for maximum flexibility and has front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while facilitating sprinkler water flow, improving fire safety. Assembly is easy and does not require bolts, nuts, or clips. The unit has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. The particle board ships in two pieces.
