The SC Preferred 2 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with no decking is designed to maximize storage space with a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial applications. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and provide four-side access for maximum flexibility. The shelving is constructed from sturdy roll-formed steel framing with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. Assembly is easy and tool-free, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, as snap-in components secure the unit. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts to form structurally secure joints, eliminating back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically on 1" increments. Various heights, widths, and depths accommodate nearly every facility area, and decking must be ordered separately. The system allows easy expansion by joining units for increased stability with less construction than bolting two starter units together.
