The SC Preferred™ 2 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage space with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It is suitable for retail, commercial, and industrial applications with various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly any facility area. The open shelves are adjustable in 1" increments and allow four-sided access for maximum flexibility. The shelving features easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. It includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides strong support, with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load and double rivet button stud construction locking perimeter beams into corner posts for a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. The open design facilitates expansion by joining multiple add-on units with more stability and less construction compared to bolting two starter units together. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish protects the steel components, while the decking consists of sturdy, smooth, precut 5/8" thick particleboard, which ships in two pieces for cost-effective solid support.
