The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments with easy snap-in assembly requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility, and sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports prevents beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks the perimeter beams into the corner post, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" intervals. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and includes sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking, which ships in two pieces, providing a cost-effective solid surface.
