The SC Preferred™ 2 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments, and sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking that ships in two pieces. The roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load, while double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing four-sided access for maximum flexibility, and feature a chip resistant gray baked enamel finish. Assembly is easy and boltless, requiring no nuts, bolts, or clips, with snap-in components that facilitate expansion and joining of multiple units for increased stability with less construction compared to bolting starter units together.
