The SC Preferred 2 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize your storage area with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The open design allows four-side access, providing maximum flexibility, and the sturdy roll-formed steel framing offers maximum support. Front-to-back supports help prevent beams from rotating when fully loaded, while double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, and the sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard provides a cost-effective solid decking, which ships in two pieces. Assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips; snap-in components simplify setup and allow for quick expansion by joining units with more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together.
