The SC Preferred® 5 Shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams, providing a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway, supported by front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and includes a sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking, which ships in two pieces. The open design allows four-side access and features easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
