The SC Preferred 3 shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with laminate deck is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial settings, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The kit includes sturdy 2" x 1-1/2" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments, allowing for open shelves that provide four-side access and maximum flexibility. The open design and double rivet button stud construction lock perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. The front-to-back supports prevent beams from rotating under full load, and the snap-in components allow for easy assembly without bolts, nuts, or clips. The shelving measures 1/2" thick with a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine surface deck that has pre-cut square edging and a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish on the steel frame. The particle board ships in two pieces.
