The SC Preferred 5 shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter measures 96" wide by 30" deep by 120" high and features a laminate deck designed to maximize storage space. It supports a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level and is suitable for retail, commercial, and industrial applications. The shelves are open and adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for flexible storage configurations and four-side access. The shelving unit is easy to assemble with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. It is constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support, and front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. The double rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams to corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish protects the steel frame, while the stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging in white laminated particle board that ships in two pieces.
