The SC Preferred 2 shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with laminate deck is designed to maximize storage area in retail, commercial, and industrial applications. It features a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level and is constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing customization to fit various storage needs with heights, widths, and depths to accommodate nearly every facility area. The shelving system provides four side access due to its open design and includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers along with double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts, preventing back and side sway. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish protects the steel frame, while the stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine surface decking measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging and ships in two pieces. Assembly is easy with snap-in components that require no bolts, nuts, or clips.
