The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire decking is designed to maximize your storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts forming a structurally secure joint to eliminate back and side sway, and wire decking that allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. Its open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and expansion is simplified with more stability than bolting two starter units together. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, and the wire decking permits sprinkler water to pass through easily, improving fire safety. Particle board ships in two pieces.
