The SC Preferred 2 shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with laminate deck is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, providing sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support and eliminating back and side sway through double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts. The open shelves offer a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level and are adjustable in 1" increments, while the open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility. The deck is a 1/2" thick particle board with a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface and pre-cut square edging in white laminated finish; the particle board ships in two pieces. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and the chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish adds durability. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded.
