The SC Preferred 3 shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter kit measures 96" W x 36" D x 120" H with a laminate deck designed to maximize storage area and accommodate various heights, widths, and depths for retail, commercial, and industrial applications. It supports a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level and features durable roll-formed steel framing with rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The open shelves are adjustable in 1" increments and provide four-side access for maximum flexibility. The design includes front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded and uses double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The kit features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking, which is 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging in white laminated particle board that ships in two pieces. Assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, with snap-in components included.
