The SC Preferred 5 shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter, measuring 96" W x 36" D x 120" H, features a laminate deck designed to maximize storage area and accommodate various heights, widths, and depths for nearly every facility. Suitable for retail, commercial, and industrial applications, the shelving unit offers open design with four-side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams adjustable at 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish combined with a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine surface decking, which is 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging, ensures durability. The particle board ships in two pieces. The system supports a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level.
