The SC Preferred 3 shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter unit measures 96" W x 48" D x 120" H and features a laminate deck designed to maximize storage area, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It includes durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit consists of rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into the corner posts using double rivet button stud construction to form structurally secure joints, eliminating back and side sway. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility, with front-to-back supports preventing beams from rotating when fully loaded. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish on the sturdy roll-formed steel framing complements the stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking, which is 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging in a white laminated finish. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
