The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and provide four side access for maximum flexibility. Easy to assemble with snap-in components, no bolts, nuts, or clips are required. Various heights, widths, and depths accommodate nearly every facility area, allowing easy expansion by joining units with more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together. The shelving features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, while double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts creating structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, and the wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and sprinkler water flow for improved fire safety. Particle board ships in two pieces.
