The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, providing adaptable storage, and feature an open design that allows four-side access for maximum flexibility. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports prevents beam rotation when fully loaded, while double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable in 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, and the included wire decking ensures ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, facilitating sprinkler water passage for improved fire safety. The shelving is easy to assemble with snap-in components requiring no nuts, bolts, or clips, and expansion is simplified by joining units with greater stability and less construction than bolting starter units together. Particle board ships in two pieces.
