The SC Preferred™ 2 shelf, heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire decking is designed to maximize storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. Suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, the durable open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments to accommodate various heights, widths, and depths for nearly every facility area. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into the corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. The wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while enabling sprinkler water to pass throughout the racks, enhancing fire safety. The shelving features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Assembly is easy and tool-free, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components to join units for greater stability and less construction compared to bolting two starter units together. The unit has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. Particle board ships in two pieces. Warranty terms apply.
