The SC Preferred 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable in 1" increments, allowing for customizable storage configurations. The system features durable roll-formed steel framing with double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints, preventing back and side sway. Front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation under full loads. The add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. Wire decking promotes ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while allowing sprinkler water to pass through easily, enhancing fire safety. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish increases durability. Assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components instead, and units can be expanded and joined with stability without bolting two starter units together. The particle board ships in two pieces.
