The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving add-on with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications, accommodating various heights, widths, and depths. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The shelving supports a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level and features durable, roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The open shelf design allows four-side access, providing maximum flexibility, while wire decking enhances ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, with sprinkler water passing through easily for improved fire safety. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and an open design that makes assembly easy without bolts, nuts, or clips. The particle board ships in two pieces.
