The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf Standard Duty Boltless Shelving Add-On with wire decking is designed to maximize storage with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level and features durable, adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and the easy assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components for quick setup. The open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility, and multiple units can be joined with greater stability compared to bolting two starter units together. It is constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing that provides maximum support and includes front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. Each add-on unit comes with rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Wire decking is included to allow ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and sprinkler water passage for improved fire safety. The particle board ships in two pieces.
