The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf standard duty boltless shelving add-on with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, accommodating various heights, widths, and depths. Each level supports a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing flexibility, and the open design provides four-side access. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and expansion is facilitated by joining units with greater stability compared to bolting two starter units together. The shelving features sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support, front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under load, and double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. Each add-on includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, while sprinkler water passes easily throughout the racks, improving fire safety. Particle board components ship in two pieces.
