The SC Preferred 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter measures 60" wide by 24" deep by 120" high and includes a laminate deck designed to maximize storage area. It features durable and adaptable storage for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable in 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, and front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. The unit has a chip resistant gray baked enamel finish and a stain resistant, easy-to-clean 1/2" thick white laminated melamine surface decking with pre-cut square edging. The open design allows four side access, and assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Particle board ships in two pieces.
