The SC Preferred 2 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with laminate deck is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial environments. It features a maximum storage weight capacity of 1400 lbs. per level and offers durable, adaptable storage with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The shelving is constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support, with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, ensuring a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2", 14 gauge steel uprights punched at 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The finish is a chip-resistant gray baked enamel, and the decking is a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine surface, measuring 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging. The particle board ships in two pieces.
