The SC Preferred 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter unit measures 60" W x 36" D x 120" H and features a laminate deck designed to maximize storage area. It supports a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level and is suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable in 1" increments, and the unit allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility. The shelving is constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing and includes front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2", 14 gauge steel uprights with 1" center punchings and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The shelf surface is a 1/2" thick melamine particle board with a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean, white laminated finish and pre-cut square edging; the particle board ships in two pieces. The entire unit is coated with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips for assembly.
