The SC Preferred 5 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter measures 60" wide by 36" deep by 120" high and features a laminate deck designed to maximize storage area. It supports a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level and is suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and the open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy and does not require bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components instead. The shelving is constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing that provides maximum support along with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks the perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, and double riveted horizontal beams adjusting vertically in 1" increments. The finish is a chip-resistant gray baked enamel and the shelf decks are stain resistant and easy to clean with a 1/2" thick melamine surface featuring pre-cut square edging, white and laminated.
