The SC Preferred 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with laminate deck is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable construction suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The shelving includes open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments, providing customizable storage options. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing offers maximum support, while front-to-back supports prevent beams from rotating under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints, eliminating back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically by 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking measuring 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging provide durability and a clean appearance. The particle board deck ships in two pieces.
