The SC Preferred 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with laminate deck is designed to maximize storage capacity with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It is suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, featuring durable and adaptable storage with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically on 1" increments. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The shelves have a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and stain-resistant, easy-to-clean 1/2" thick melamine surface decking with pre-cut square edging in white/laminated. The open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The particle board ships in two pieces.
