The SC Preferred 4 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving Starter with laminate deck is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, providing flexible storage options, while the open design allows four-side access. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint, preventing back and side sway. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. The assembly is easy and tool-free, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components. The shelving measures 1/2" thick with a pre-cut square-edged white laminated particle board deck, which ships in two pieces. The frame has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, and the melamine surface decking is stain-resistant and easy to clean.
