The SC Preferred 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with laminate deck features a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level and is designed for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The shelving unit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments, providing sturdy roll-formed steel framing and maximum support. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full loads, while double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. The open shelving design allows four side access for maximum flexibility. The chip resistant gray baked enamel finish and stain resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine surface decking measure 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The particle board deck ships in two pieces.
