The SC Preferred 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter kit measures 72" wide by 18" deep by 120" high and features a laminate deck designed to maximize storage area. It supports a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level and is suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial applications. The open shelves are adjustable in 1" increments, allowing for adaptable storage configurations. The system uses sturdy roll-formed steel framing with 2" x 1-1/2", 14 gauge uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock securely into the corner posts with double rivet button stud construction to eliminate back and side sway. Front-to-back supports provide additional stability by preventing beam rotation under full load. The shelving unit features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine surface decking that measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging.
