The SC Preferred 2 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with laminate deck is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications, accommodating various heights, widths, and depths for nearly every facility space. The open shelves, adjustable at 1" increments, provide four-side access for maximum flexibility and support a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into the corner posts to prevent back and side sway, and a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean 1/2" thick melamine laminate deck with pre-cut square edging in white, which ships as particle board in two pieces. The durable roll-formed steel framing features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, and front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded.
