The kit includes a starter unit featuring sturdy 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, and a 1/2" thick stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking with pre-cut square edging in white/layered particle board that ships in two pieces. The open shelves provide four side access and adjustability at 1" increments for flexible storage options. The roll-formed steel framing offers maximum support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load, while double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints that eliminate sway. The shelving features a chip resistant gray baked enamel finish and allows for easy assembly without the need for bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components.
