The SC Preferred 2 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with laminate deck is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications. Each shelf level supports a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing customizable storage configurations. The unit features a durable, chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish on sturdy roll-formed steel framing with 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, and double rivet button stud construction secures perimeter beams into the corner posts to prevent back and side sway. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. The laminate deck, measuring 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging, has a stain-resistant and easy-to-clean melamine surface in white/laminated finish. Assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components for easy setup. The particle board deck ships in two pieces.
