The SC Preferred 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter unit measures 72"W x 48"D x 120"H and features a laminate deck designed to maximize storage area, with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. This durable and adaptable shelving system is suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial applications. The open shelf design provides four side access for maximum flexibility, and the shelves are adjustable in 1" increments. Assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing ensures maximum support, with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation under heavy loads. Double rivet button stud construction secures the perimeter beams to the corner posts, creating a structurally stable joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish complements the stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking, which is 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging in white laminated particle board, shipped in two pieces.
