The SC Preferred 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with laminate deck is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage with open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts with double rivet button stud construction to prevent back and side sway, and a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. The stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging in white laminated particle board, which ships in two pieces. The shelving unit requires easy assembly with snap-in components, needing no bolts, nuts, or clips, and the sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded.
